Makeup Tips for A Summer/Destination Wedding

http://anointedfirehouse.com/d/WR>9FY6tno The warm weather is officially here! That means it is time to change up your makeup routine! Your normal makeup routine might not survive the heat for the summer months. Sweat and oil easily break down makeup if you don’t take extra steps to keep your makeup on! Climate change is something else that you must consider; especially for a destination wedding. Whether it is the humidity of Hawaii, or the dry air of Utah, your makeup will be affected.  Here are some tips to help your daily makeup looking flawless throughout barb-ques and days in the sun.

more information #1 – Use a daily moisturizer and SPF

best book for christian dating My favorite summer time moisturizer is the Dermalogica Active Moist. It contains Silk Amino Acids that help with surface dehydration. It is a common myth to think that if you have oily skin, you don’t need to moisturize. Your skin still needs hydration (water) and this moisturizer is going to help with that surface dehydration.

One of my favorite primers that does has SPF 15 is the Hourglass Veil Primer. It is great for holding on your makeup throughout the sweat and tears of your wedding day.

#2 – Carry Blotting Papers

Blotting sheets, are an oily girl’s dream come true! Excess oil is bound to build up throughout the hot weather. Blotting sheets absorb the oil without messing up the makeup beneath. They are fantastic for a quick fix throughout the day!

#3 – Pressed powder

Pressed powder is fantastic for helping keep the skin matte. Blotting sheets take away the oil and the powder re-sets the foundation locking it in for the rest of the day! Fenty Beauty has an amazing powder that is completely matte and invisible.

#4 – Always use a Setting Spray

Setting sprays should be the final step of makeup! It will help set the makeup and powder into the skin. I always use the Urban Decay All Nighter! I love it!

For your destination or summer wedding, I provide professional hair and makeup styling. All of my brides receive a touch-up kit so you don’t have to worry about your makeup. Your focus should be enjoying your wedding day, not worrying about your makeup!

I hope these tips help you keep your daily makeup looking fresh all day!
