Hand Picked Best Friend
After your consultation phone call, your artist will be hand picked for you based on the style you are looking for and artist that will best match your personality. We have a team of professional, licensed artists who specialize in bridal.
Your bridal artist won’t just be there to do your hair and makeup. From placing your veil to making sure you have had enough food and water, you will be best friends!
At your trial run, you will have 3 hours of dedicated time with your artist.

Absolutely not! Sarah Hicken Artistry is a team of professional and licensed hair and makeup artists. We can handle bridal parties of any size.
Yes, however we do not hold any dates without a signed contract and a non refundable deposit
A trial run is not requireable but it is essential! Sometimes you think you might like something, but then when you try it on, you realize it doesn’t suit you. Having a trial appointment will help you better understand what works and what doesn’t. This gives you the confidence and peace-of-mind needed on the day of the wedding.
As professional makeup artists, we follow state board requirements when it comes to sanitation. We also use professional products that are guaranteed to last all day. If you have a specific lip color, that you want to carry with you and touchup with, that is more than fine.
We will create a custom schedule for you before your wedding day. This will include touch ups and applying lip color once everyone’s hair and makeup is complete. At that point, we leave unless you want an artist to stay throughout photos and the ceremony which would be an additional charge.
Our team and our studio is based in Nashville, Tennessee. We travel anywhere our clients need us to!
Trial runs are held at our studio in Nashville, 700 18th S Ave. If we are traveling to you for the trial run, there will be an additional travel fee.
We provide dry styling only so make sure your hair is clean and dry
For bridal, we schedule 1 hour. For bridesmaids, we schedule 45 minutes.
